Does BharatEdit save or store my photo?
No. Never. Your photo is processed entirely in your browser and is deleted when you close the page. We do not upload, store, or share your photo on any server.
Is it safe for Aadhaar or Passport applications?
Yes. Since your photo never leaves your device, there is zero risk of your personal photo being misused on our servers — because we have no access to it.
Which documents are supported?
Indian Passport (630×810 digital + 35×45 mm print), PAN, Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, OCI, and exam photos. More tools are being added.
What background colour will my photo have?
White by default — the standard for most Indian government documents. You can also choose light blue or grey for forms that require it.
Can I use a selfie?
Yes! A clear selfie in natural light works well. Face the camera directly, avoid harsh shadows, and don't wear sunglasses.
Is BharatEdit free?
